NaturoBest’s Mood, Memory and Libido Support has been formulated with specific herbs to promote a healthy libido while also increasing cognitive performance and short-term memory and recall. It includes herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support healthy mood balance and a healthy nervous system.
This formula contains Tribulus terrestris which promotes a healthy libido and supports healthy sexual function. It is also commonly prescribed by herbalists prior to conception for both men and women.
In Western herbal medicine, it is used by both men and women to assist fertility, especially if low libido is an issue or if there are low levels of sex hormones – oestrogen in women and testosterone in men. In women, it is often prescribed from days 5-14 of the menstrual cycle. When used in this way, it should always be under the guidance of your medical herbalist.
Animal studies show that taking Tribulus long-term is more effective than short-term use. Administration of Tribulus extracts to animals improved libido and increased sexual behaviour and spermatogenesis (the creation of sperm cells in the testes).
It also contains Gingko biloba which has traditionally been used in Western herbal medicine to enhance healthy blood circulation and improve circulation to the peripheral areas of the body. Gingko biloba is also used traditionally to enhance cognitive performance.
