Supports Cellular Energy and Mitochondrial Function

Ingredients in Mito Activate have been traditionally used for or may assist:

  • Mitochondrial function and cellular energy production.1
  • Mental and physical fatigue.2
  • 10 g Green tea for cellular health.3
Clinical Benefits
  • Mito Activate contains alpha lipoic acid (ALA) which may assist in the production of cellular energy.4 ALA is required for mitochondrial function and therefore serves a key role in energy metabolism.5 Yerba mate is traditionally used for mental and physical fatigue in Latin American herbal medicine.6 ALA and yerba mate both activate adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which is a regulator of cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial biogenesis.7 Korean ginseng has been used to assist with fatigue in traditional Western herbal medicine.8
  • Mito Activate contains green tea and may assist with cellular health and function.9 Components in green tea have been shown to inhibit PI3K, a family of enzymes involved in cellular functions.10 PI3 enzymes increase the activity of metabolic regulators such as; PGC1, and mitochondrial energy output.11 PGC1 is also involved in the optimal function of mitochondria.12
